- Riders: Name, email address, phone number, payment/wallet details, and profile photo.
- Drivers: Name, contact information, driver's license details, government-issued IDs, vehicle registration, and background check documentation.
- Operators & LGU staff: Name, official email address, phone number, employment/organizational details, and credentials.
B. Location data
- Real-time location: We collect precise or approximate location data from drivers and riders to enable accurate trip routing, fare calculation, real-time tracking, and safety features. This data may be collected even when the driver app is running in the background.
C. Usage and device information
- Device model, operating system, IP address, browser type, and app performance analytics.
- Transaction details, including trip history, fares charged, and wallet cash-in/top-up records.
How we use your information
We use the collected data for various purposes, including:
- Service delivery: To facilitate ride-booking, process payments, manage in-app wallets, and calculate routed fares.
- Regulatory compliance: To assist LGUs in issuing and renewing franchises and permits, maintaining audit trails, and managing fleet compliance.
- Platform safety & security: To verify the identities of drivers and operators, monitor trips in real time, and prevent fraud.
- Communication: To send trip updates, administrative notifications, and support responses.
- Value-added services: To enable HanepBuhay services and top-ups directly within the driver application.
Data sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information in the following specific scenarios:
- Between users: We share rider names and pickup/drop-off locations with drivers, and driver names, vehicle details, and locations with riders.
- With LGUs and operators: Fleet performance, permit histories, and audit trails are accessible to authorized LGU personnel and fleet operators via Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- With service providers: Third-party vendors who assist with secure payment processing, identity verification, and cloud hosting, all bound by strict data isolation agreements.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or government authority to comply with legal obligations or protect public safety.
Data security and privacy compliance
- Tenant isolation & RBAC: Our system uses strict tenant isolation and Role-Based Access Control to ensure that data is only accessed by authorized back-office staff.
- Data safeguards: We employ industry-standard encryption (in transit and at rest) to protect your personal and financial transactions.
